About me
The Goose was born on September 1, 2009. He was exclusively breastfed until six months and is still breastfeeding to date. It’s been a fascinating, challenging, wonderful experience, and I’ve loved every second of it.
Yes, even the pain during the trying first few weeks. Even the long hours during the night trying to figure out what we were doing, exhausted and half-conscious.
Every second.
Because I persevered and learned and grew. And because I fed and nurtured my baby in a way that no one else could. I’m a stronger and better person because of it, and I want to help other moms walk this path. That’s why I became a WIC breastfeeding peer counselor and that’s why I started this blog.
