a beginning

Hello.

I’ve toyed with the idea of starting a blog about breastfeeding, but I thought that perhaps there are already plenty out there.

Today I decided that the more resources that exist, the better it will be for women everywhere.

So here I am.

I’m the mother of an exclusively breastfed nine-month-old boy.  I live in Virginia.  I’m 25.  I’m married to a swell guy.

I’m currently training to become a WIC breastfeeding peer counselor.  I’ll tell you more about that experience as I learn more and begin working with WIC moms.

I’m not a breastfeeding expert, but I am a voracious reader, and I’m passionate about breastfeeding.  I plan to share with you my personal experience and anything that I can find across the Internet.

My goal is to make some breastfeeding mother, somewhere out there, feel less alone.
